Gisaburo Takahashi succeeded to the name, Gihei Takahashi, and became the second president.

Constructed a new plant in Sanjo City and started manufacturing carpentry tools. At the same time, expanded market to the north of China and Hokkaido.

Separated manufacturing from sales, and made sales department into Takagi Shoten Co., Ltd. and manufacturing department into Takagi Kogyosho Co., Ltd.
1942
Became a designated factory of navy arsenals and Yokosuka Naval Air Technical Arsenals, supplying tool blades and general hardware.
1945
Established a subsidiary, Tokyo Takagi Kanamono, and expanded market to Tokyo.
1948
Nakayoshi Takahashi succeeded to the name, Gihei Takahashi, and became the third president. The company name was changed from Takagi Shoten Co., Ltd. to Takagi Kanamono Co., Ltd.
1961
Giichiro Takahashi succeeded to the name, Gihei Takahashi, and became the fourth president.
1969
Construction of the new head offices of Takagi Co., Ltd.
Takagi Co., Ltd. was formed as a result of amalgamation between Takagi Kanamono Co., Ltd. and Takagi Kogyosho Co., Ltd.
1970
Takagi Co., Ltd. absorbed Tokyo Takagi Kanamono in a merger.
1971
Kazuo Takahashi was appointed as the fifth president.
1975
New building of Tokyo Sales Office was completed.
No. 2 Business Division was newly established.
Operations were expanded to the gift business and school teaching resources business.

To expand the volume retail division, headquarter No. 3 Business Division was newly established in Mitsuke City, Niigata.

Sapporo Branch Office was newly established.

Osaka Sales Office was newly established.

The Cutter Saw Business Division was newly established. Subsequently renamed as the Neocut Business Division.

New building of No. 3 Business Division Logistics Center was completed in the Nishikan Ward of Niigata City.

A local subsidiary was established in Wuxi (China)

New building of Tokyo Branch was completed. No. 3 Hiroshima Sales Office was newly established.

Neocut Business Division No. 3 Plant was established in Sanjo City, Niigata, and sale of Neocut Wood was commenced.
Sales broke through the 200-million-yen barrier.

Additional warehouse was constructed on the expanded site of Head Office in Sanjo City, Niigata. The total site area 15,840㎡.

Utsunomiya sub-branch office was newly established.

Tsukasa Takahashi was appointed as the seventh-generation company president.
